SUMMARY:Third Wednesday Bird Hike
DESCRIPTION:Please note that this event is now held on the third Wednesday of each month. \nJoin park staff to look for resident and visiting birds on a guided bird walk\, from 8-10 a.m.\, at Carolina Beach State Park. No experience is necessary; all are welcome. \nPlan to meet at the marina\, and we will walk from there. The hike will be approximately 2 miles long over flat terrain and run for approximately 2 hours. \nBring your own binoculars\, drinking water and insect repellent.

He will discuss the bobwhite quail and how to manage its habitat in multiple scenarios so that these birds can thrive. \nThe audience will have the opportunity to ask questions during the webinar. You can submit your questions for Marc beforehand (during registration)\, or ask them live. There will be a quick update on PRISM activities at the beginning of the meeting. \nBlue Ridge PRISM’s Summer Meeting is a free\, online event.
