SUMMARY:Bird Hike
DESCRIPTION:Join our park naturalist and ornithologist for a 2-hour guided hike through a variety of habitat in search of seasonal birds. We will be listening and looking for as many species as possible and expect to encounter late migrants as well as wintering and local resident birds. \nBring binoculars and a field guide if you have them (the park is unable to loan binoculars at this time). Wear comfortable shoes and layers since it will likely be quite cool when we set out. The walking will not be strenuous but be aware that the trails are uneven in places. \nNOTE: Program is limited to the first 12 registrants. Participants MUST call the park office (910-692-2167) to reserve a place.
