Some topics we may discuss during the workshop:

• What does quality habitat look like? What do working lands that are also good habitat look like? Structural diversity (e.g., riparian buffers, early-successional habitat, species diversity and spatial heterogeneity)
• Practices for Promoting Water Quality: erosion control, BMPs, SMZs, practices that also benefit wildlife (hedgerows, etc.)
• Intro on native versus invasive species – why does this matter?
