This program is for anyone that is interested in or is currently conducting prescribed burns. Participants will learn how to better prepare themselves to manage the liability they face as a result of prescribed burning.

Topics will include:
– South Carolina Laws
– Writing a Burn Plan
– CPFM Certification
– Wildland Urban Interface
– Weather Conditions
– Smoke Management
– Legal Issues – “Protecting yourself from the flames”

There will be 4 Category 1 CFE credits available to foresters for an additional $40 fee.
