Longleaf for the Landowner

Longleaf for the Landowner is designed especially for beginning landowners and those who are ready to take a more active role in the management and ownership of their land.

  • Discover how to seek financial assistance for land stewardship activities and apply for cost-share programs.
  • Gain a better understanding of heirs’ property  issues and helpful resources. 
  • Learn the economics, ecology, and management of longleaf pine through a combination of classroom and field instruction.
  • All landowners and natural resource professionals are encouraged to attend!

– Creating Your Family Forest Legacy

– Business Planning for Your Family Forest & Farm

– Keys to Establishing Longleaf Pine

– Understanding Heirs Property and Estate Planning

Multiple ways to attend:

Landowner waiver – This program has a fee waiver for landowners to attend.  Thanks to the sponsors of the event, cost need not be a barrier for anyone interested in attending to learn.

Landowner registration – $50 for the course

Professional registration – $100 for the course; SAF credits pending
