Learn how to safely set-up and use all types of tree stands: ladder, lock-on, climber, free-standing, and associated climbing equipment and harnesses. We will also discuss alternatives to tree stands such as ground blinds and use of box stands. Class will include practical exercise to erect and take down a ladder stand and discussion on proper use of fall arrest systems and associated straps and lines, and recovery from a fall to re-board the stand.
