North Carolina has a long history of wild fires. As more people move into natural areas, risk from wildfires increases. Fortunately, there are modifications that homeowners can make to their home and landscape to be more fire resistant. this hands-on workshop is intended to teach community members, Master Gardeners and natural resource and Extension professionals about fire-resistant landscaping or firescaping.
